Went to the show tonight, and have to say, it’s definitely different than the previous adventures at Mannings.
Along one wall, there is a set a 5 simulators, where you can do anything from practice putting, and chipping, to going to the driving range, and finally play a around of golf.
Once I get my shoulder healed up, I may give it a try.
As for food, typical upscale bar food. I had a burger and fries, and my wife had the club sandwich. Both were ok, not outstanding, but not bad, either. Over the next few weeks, we will try some of the other options.
Really big crowd was there, the Athletic Department does there best to represent, and then tonight, they had the equipment managers there. So, I’d have to say 40 to 50 people were there for the show.
It’s in Metairie, so you can leave work, and drive there, instead of home.
Oh, and I don’t drink, but it looked like people were enjoying some cork sucker.
