I guess it all depends on your strategy for saving this year. Game time vs. a top team or one more week to get ready

McMillan needs game speed experience... get it next week vs. Ohio State so he can be potentially useful versus Memphis...

Ga State moved the ball well against Memphis last night... if our offense can actually find itself, we might be able to do the same.. but I think we need a major shake up to get this team's attention.. and benching Banks would do just that
LAST YEAR VS SMU SHOULDVE GOTTEN THEIR ATTENTION!

Just an overall pitiful QB performance. Banks was in a different time zone today.

only silver lining to this game was the frequency of Dani Klupenger reports from the sideline

The better team and better coached team won again...

Post by 1401973 »

Banks with an FIU type game... again. I hope he completely owns his idiotic approach to this game and his opponent. Where were the coaches who should have shut that down by benching his arse for the first quarter. Accountability?
95% runs inside the tackles when wide was not even tested...btw UAB struggled with the option last week. But we didn’t run an option. If Banks refuses to keep or pitch pull his effing arse.
D line provides no pressure and penetration. 2018 will be the second year in a row with very little sacks and TFL.
Will the WF era be defined by a lack of urgency?
I suggest the sleepwalking approach in the first half of the Wake and UAB games will doom the season. I hope like hell i’m wrong.
Definitely the better team won today. We could have lost by 4TDs today.

I appreciated the Dani for player of the game comments on Facebook. I liked the Facebook game. Better than ESPN3 I thought

A lot of emotion from true fans who are passionate about TU and have invested heavily. I know I’ve been with this program every effing step over the last 5 decades. The very least of our worries is one too many thread. There are issues.

Post game: Fritz at a real loss of words. Sounded shocked. Sounded like he’d never been in this situation. Scary.

I just left Legion Field and here are a few observations

1. Legion Field is a dump.
2. Banks played poorly but I think a lot is on the coaches. Trying to make him a pocket passer is a big mistake.
3. Why is Dauphine not getting more touches. Why is Huderson getting any?
4. Dline can get no QB pressure by themselves. Only time we get close is with Blitz.
5. We need to run triple option more. It worked.
6. Need to find another 3rd receiver option besides Clewis.
7. Mooney might be our best player.
8. Defense buckled up in second half but heat eventually too much as they had to play too many snaps.
9. I was expecting so much more this year but so far all I see is regression

No! Not against Ohio St. No sense in getting him killed next week. Let Banks take the beating and then have McMillan ready for Memphis.

This wave team will beat SMU. I'm not seeing any other wins. Mental state is atrocious. It's better than CJ ball, but so freaking what?

I don't have it in me to follow another two win season in grisly detail. I really thought this staff could get a decent team together. I was wrong.

At least I have my Saturdays back to spend on more pleasant pursuits.

Because he hasn’t been in this situation.

No one to blame but himself. Lack of recruiting at the most important position on the field and play calling reflects it. We don’t run option. We don’t pas the ball well. We are limited at WR. We have no identity. I would have preferred Brantley today. Just a mess.

Defense played well after first two quarters, but they came out the gate poorly. We are a CUSA type team and recruiting looks to be heading in the wrong direction. How many winning seasons since 1970? Five?

Well at least you got to see that Chase Fourcade wouldn’t be the answer here.
