Ohio State signs

Post by PeteRasche »

Apologies to waverider who threw one out in the other thread, I was waiting until it was game week...
Let's hear your best ideas.

Easy ones as starter ideas:
"Columbus wishes it were New Orleans"
"You spent 4 years in Columbus? BAHAHAHAHA"
"At the end of the day, we have New Orleans and you have Columbus, Ohio"
"After the game, we'll hit Bourbon Street and... oh, wait, this is Columbus"
"Urban can't deny he'd rather party in New Orleans"

Getting a little more cruel:
"More beatings Urban claims to not know about: Oregon State, 77-31, Rutgers 52-3"

And if the game gets really out of hand, in the fourth quarter you roll out:
"Urban denies knowing about THIS beating too"

I visited Columbus, Ohio a few years ago. I thought that it was a great town. It has the Buckeyes, minor league baseball, major league soccer, major league hockey, and the greatest (and many) golfing sites that a weekend hacker like me could want. I thought that it was going to be just another college town, but I was proved wrong.

I used to go to Batelle in Columbus for business and had quite the opposite experience. Maybe because a lot of the time it was during winter months but give me New Orleans any day.

Either way it won’t be pretty come Saturday.

I liked the one that said "Meyer let Smith dot the eye."

Alright, people, you are deviating from the point of this thread, which was for y'all to come up with clever signs Tulane could display in the Horseshoe this weekend.

This is not a thread about the merits of Columbus, Ohio (it's a fine town with a lot going for it but that's not the point at all) nor a thread to discuss signs already made about OSU in prior weeks.

Surely someone here has some creativity... ?

At least our quarterbacks don't have to switch positions to play in the NFL.

This game is meaningless. We are a baseball school.

Why would we want to play in Pasadena? Have you been to New Orleans?

Here's the most succinct one: Urban Myers is a douche-bag.

“Urban Meyer Isn’t Responsible for His Assistants’ Personal Lives”

It would at least be liked by the OSU crowd

Slightly more verbose:
Urban Meyer is the worst human currently coaching football.
