Yeah we held them under 50. So man I see us winning the conference after this showing.

This. We never had a shot so it's not like it was disappointing.

You're not allowed to be mad until year 5.

What he said. And hey, we scored!

We did better than Rutgers, and Rutgers is in their frigging conference.

Any word on any lasting injuries? Everyone I saw go down (and admittedly I missed quite a bit) seemed to walk off on the own. Hopefully we came out unscathed.

The BS move against Kennedy (which I saw on social media after the game, of course it wasn't replayed in the stadium) ought to bring a suspension or something.

Defense never quit, played a great 2nd half. Cam Sample was flying around, Dauphine had a couple nice runs, McMillan made a few nice throws. Punt unit was solid. Pass rush finally showed up against their 3rd string and those guys are better than some of the OLs we'll see down the road. Those are all appreciable tangible results of effort one doesn't typically see from Tulane teams of the past once the game is over.

I was following along on CBS and looked like we were getting pressure. I hope that’s a sign of things to come.

Rutgers lost to Kansas by 40 and Buffalo by 30, I'd hope we were significantly better than them.

Of course you are free to do that, but it goes against your rule as stated above.

Wow. This post sums up being a Tulane fan.... and it's very sad.

Played great in 2nd half when game was already out of hand.

One defensive player that is noticable.

A highly recruited player had a couple of nice runs (had he he more we might be 2-1 going into this game)...

Punt team looked..... stopped reading

Something about looking good against 3rd string when game was decided......

Man if this isn't a Tulane moral victory rolled up into a post I don't know what is.

Heck we even scored! (Missed extra point but that's cause those mean ol refs cheated or something)

I'm comfortable interpreting my own ethos... thanks though

the guy cracked the front of his helmet... Matt Millen was splooshing all over himself over the block... technically it was targeting but do you think we were going to get that call in Ohio Stadium?

This is year three and we should be able to compete with them for a couple of quarters. That's the least I am asking. We returned way too many people on offense to be this bad. We looked worse than we did vs Oklahoma last year. So far this year against non-FCS opponent our offense has come out completely flat. Last year we scored on our first possession a few times.

what Poseidon said.

I don’t see how they increase season ticket sales next season with this boring and predictable game plan.

Memphis knows to torch our corners and stuff the box. Voila,,,
