This week's SI has a good story about the origin and fate of the triple option and its derivatives. WF is quoted and the Tulane scheme is analyzed.

Interesting to read exactly how much influence Fritz has had on developing new forms of the option game.

Now that was a great read. Thanks a lot for posting it.

Apart from the Tulane angle, I enjoyed how the article started with a discussion of Acadiana High School's use of the triple option. Also was a quote to be remembered: "Shotgun triple option is pure communism." Haha.
