Good move. Earliest it's been in a long time, but it resolves the issues the schedule presented if they'd insisted on staying in mid to late November.

I’ve thought the mid to late November HC was due to the schedule the last few years. Seems like we’ve had games that conflicted with fall break or no early November home games.

This. All indications show they want late October or early November. But they also don't want it during Fall Break, on a weeknight, nor against a really strong team. Recent schedules have thus forced some hands
