If that’s the return timeframe, why didn’t they just do it the first weekend?

Maybe that line drive he took off it a few games back did more damage or at least let them know he couldn't really play through it

the funny part is they are 3-2 vs. Q1 teams, Tulane being one of those Q1 opponents.. yet at 75, Ole Miss is only a Q2 team for us.... proving your point, actually

He was reluctant to come out of the game and probably thought he would just play through it until it healed. You may be right about reinjurying it or having more pain come on the more he tried to use it.
