by that logic you can also include New Mexico State. Wazzu hired their skip instead

Arguably Green's resume is stronger than Jewett's. So in short, TJ may not have even been offered the WSU job. Who knows what the back story is here?

I think it’s safe to assume that Jewett was not offered the WSU job

I don't follow the slotting dollars closely... where is the consensus threshold of nervousness for a signee getting drafted? 4th round? 5th round?

Guy I went to high school with was drafted in round 30-something and skipped out on his LSU offer to go pro. Depends on the kid I suppose.

https://www.mlb.com/draft/tracker/all/round/3

follow the right hand column
so now the question the kids will have to ask themselves is do they:
A. want $700,000 (or whatever smaller sum) in their pockets right now to go play baseball for the Schnectady Slobberknockers or wherever
B. want to play Tulane Baseball for at least 3 years
SUB B: get a Tulane degree

some pick A, some pick B, most who pick B find SUB B to work out for them

Who wouldn't want the chance to wear this classic lid?

honestly I only knew the Fire Frogs existed because I googled to see if the Brevard County Manatees were still around. I mean, nothing strikes fear into the heart of floating vegetation like a manatee.

These all take a backseat to former minor league hockey team the Macon Whoopee.

The Cal-Santa Cruz banana slugs still win for best college nickname.
