Who's missing? I noticed both Sample & Patrick Johnson changed Jersey #'s but that's all that jumped out. Didn't see either grad transfer but they're here now.

I think it was because there aren't 85 scholarship players on the roster, that somebody must be missing

I definitely don’t see Roch Hontas on there.

Yeah, Knutson and Hinton aren't listed but I wouldn't worry about the eligibility of grads from UVa & Columbia.

No but we should name a spot on the bench for him.

So, does this mean we have a couple of schoolies we can still give to transfers or is that all over since summer school has started? That's o.k. cause we can use them for the Dec. signing date.

No, due to the new 25 per year rule, we're hard capped right now. All we can do is give 4 scholarships to players on the current roster or take transfers who are not eligible this year (and they will take away from the number we can sign in the Class of 2020). This roster (plus the 2 grad transfers who were not named) is what we have to work with this year.

Next year, we're looking at 18 open spots right now and we'll probably end with 20-22 based on attrition or pushing 4 year guys to look elsewhere for their 5th year.

Also- this number situation is going to change. We won't have three kids wearing #4 or 3 wearing #12 or two dbs wearing #16.

If someone leaves for some reason, we can fill it though, right? (I HAVE NO INFORMATION. THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL).

We can only sign 25 new scholarship players per year. So unless one of the new guys changes his mind...
Probably see some senior walk-ons pick up a scholly or two

So if 70 scholarship players decided to transfer tomorrow we couldn't field a team?

Actually the rule is even more strict...we couldn’t replace a signee if he reneged at this point because he signed a letter of intent. Once that happens, you count whether you show up or not. It’s why grade risks aren’t getting the opportunity to sign a scholarship in most cases now whereas before you’d sign 5 grade risks hoping that 1 or 2 would work out.

Confirmed that all of our freshmen are cleared and enrolled in school. There will be no clearinghouse casualties this year. Also note (if nobody mentioned above) that Dane Ledford is now listed as a WR.

Also, for quick reference, here are the jersey numbers for new players and players who have changed numbers:

1 Jalen McCleskey
2 PJ Hall (changed from 16)
4 Jha'Quan Jackson
5 Stephon Huderson (changed from 22)
5 Cameron Sample (changed from 55)
6 Larry Bryant (changed from 4)
7 Patrick Johnson (changed from 34)
12 Ton'Quez Ball
16 Levi Williams
19 Kiland Williams
22 Tyjae Spears
23 Tyler Judson
24 Dorian Williams
27 Jacquez Norman (don't be surprised if this changes because I can see him and Ygenio Booker on the field at the same time on special teams)
34 Kanyon Walker
39 Sean Harper (changed from 12)
40 Nick Anderson
41 Darius Hodges
49 Armoni Dixon
52 Sincere Haynesworth
58 Christian Montano
61 Colby Orgeron
65 Ben Knutson
72 Caleb Thomas
74 Jackson Fort
81 Tyrek Presley
84 Will Wallace (changed from 46)
88 Keshon Williams
89 Conner Richardson
90 Davon Wright (changed from 78)
94 Eric Hicks, Jr.
TBD Mike Hinton

I believe that Howard counted towards the 2019 class.
