TU Fall Baseball
Does anyone know when baseball fall ball starts? I know players are working-out with weights but when are the scrimmages to begin?
Re: TU Fall Baseball
On The Current last week TJ and Gloor talked about it being soon. Maybe this week.

We're playing JCs now?

It’s exhibition and doesn’t mean much more than the intrasquad games we play. Who knows, maybe they have someone worth recruiting.

They play 14 fall games. Starts to make sense why kids on the margins of pro/college go the JC route. Mores chances to play, plus maintain draft eligibility.
Also, according to their schedule, there will be two games, starting at 3pm.

Tulane schedule has the Pensacola games on Friday, Nov. 12, so I would trust that source.

Re: TU Fall Baseball
Newcomer at Tulane -- JC transfer Brayden Morrow played at Pensacola JC ...so there's a connection there that may have led to the exhibition game.

Saw Southeastern baseball team on the field as I was leaving the campus today. Their fall ball is going on.

Re: TU Fall Baseball
Looks like Teo Banks had a good first scrimmage, picking up two hits, on Saturday as Tulane opened fall ball in earnest.
Also, Landry Alligood, a frosh who is a potential two-way guy, got some mound time according to Twitter reports by the Tulane baseball crew.
I plan to head to the ballpark on Sunday to check out more action.

Re: TU Fall Baseball
Tried to follow the Box Scores for both Fall WS and Ex games would anyone know what the starting lineup might look like. With all the 5th year SR's coming back and good Vets we look like we will have a good hitting Team. Pitching we might not know till we get into the season.

Re: TU Fall Baseball
Any idea on a schedule release?
So far I see a mid-week home-and-home with USM and USA, single game @ LSU, 3 @ La Tech, 2/1 with UNO (2 at the lakefront).
ECU and Wichita State have released their full schedules (we're travelling Kansas, ECU comes to Turchin), so the AAC schedule is complete.

I’m guessing we are finalizing our OOC schedule. Isn’t Miss St supposed to be making a return trip to Turchin this season?LawGreenie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 4:02 pm Any idea on a schedule release?
