Dad's being laid to rest later today at Arlington National Cemetery. Engineering class of 39, retired Colonel, aviator, Test Pilot, Titan Missile Developer, Tulane administrator and Emeritus VP. And to think it all started with an alumni scholarship to the Engineering School. Jesuit class of 34.
Earned a T letter as the manager of the baseball team.
Thanks to all who have served.
Russ W.
Ps as a side other schools represented by those attending today include: Newcomb, West Point, Berea college (ky), Kings Point, Auburn, Regent Univ, Johns Hopkins, SUNY Cobleskill, Finch, Sorbonne, and some others.

Godspeed to one of the great Tulanians.
Fan since 1974 living in Phelps seeing the upper bowl of Tulane Stadium
Re: Tulanian Laid to Rest-Arlington
The fact he is being interred at Arlington shows that you shared him with his nation; my prayers and gratitude are with you and your family.
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

Russ,
You and your family have our deepest condolences for your loss. Your Father, from your description not only defended our country and was an expert in his chosen fields. He lived as a true Renaissance man.
Our prayers are with you Father, your family and you.
God bless and keep him...
