Look at the facebook comments. Look at any comments in regards. People claiming the KAs should be left alone because of Freedom of Speech, etc.

IT'S A FRATERNITY PRANK FOR PLEDGES, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! The football players are bonding/having fun by going over there, annually according to posters here, and tearing down the wall in front of the KA pledges.

This thing has devolved into something racial because of the abundance of print/TV time/news websites/24 hour news coverage and the need to fill it up. It seems to me to be a faux story any way you cut it except for the fact that there are certain types who benefit by playing up trivial things like this. And any other "racial" confrontation between any two people anymore.

I thought we were going to be past this stuff after the election of 2008. Instead, it has gotten worse, much worse.

Much ado about nothing until the media got wind of it.

There are whole segments of video culture I missed due to living in Italy during my high school years, no TV at Tulane, and having served underway in submarines before the internet. By the time all this stuff showed up again on YouTube or TVLand cable, etc., catching up was usually overcome by events. I have all I can handle catching up on missed episodes of Better Call Saul.
