Blah, blah, blah, we had three of them (two current and one former) at the law school grand opening back in my day. At the same time. 8)

Plus another one was a college buddy of the Dean and stopped by one day to speak to my class during my 1L year (I won't mention which so as to not have this get political). It was just after the start of the year and I don't think I quite yet appreciated the magnitude of that happening. Plus it was pre-9/11 so people weren't so obsessed with security. I don't think he had any sort of security escort or anything, he just came in like any visitor would, the only special treatment was making room for all the other students who sat or stood in the room to hear him (it was obviously packed).

Great honor any time you can meet a SCOTUS. I had the honor of meeting Justices Ginsberg, Breyer, and Sotomeyer in a black tie dinner honoring my daughter a couple of years ago at the Supreme Court. Awe inspiring, especially when you can peek inside the actual courtroom I had only seen on evening news sketches. My wife and I spoke with Justice Sotomeyer for a few minutes and she could not have been nicer. I was surprised just how tiny Justice Ginsberg is. We have great photos.

Well executed back door brag.

Justice Thomas is also really short.

Nothing back door about it. We walked through the front/side door, metal detectors and all. :coolshades:

One of the local judges here had arranged a fishing trip with Justice Scalia, and I was invited to go along. The trip was scheduled for a week after Justice Scalia died, so the trip never happened. I did get to greet Blackmun and Stevens at a reception back in the 90s, however.
