Tropical storm Delta

Post by TUPF »

Looks like weekend concern upcoming for New Orleans. Cat 2 or so at landfall.
After you've been on fire under Arctic pack ice everything else is a walk in the park.

The team will be fine. They will be out of area well before Delta dawn and the storm will have passed by Sunday eve. It's the rest of you I am concerned for.

The way things go, if they say on Monday that were going to take a hit on Friday, by the time Friday comes around, it ends up somewhere else.

It was/is an awful earworm. Unfortunately there were lots of those types of songs during my teens in the 70s. Don't even get me started on the abomination called Bread.

I had never listened closely to their version (enough to know any lyrical changes) but for some reason the song got brought up on Christmas with my older relatives and I thought they'd get a laugh out of the Dash version. I started playing it and they did find it amusing until the line about a certain, uh, "toy" that some females use. My Aunt and mom both said "wait, what did they say?" and I quickly and sheepishly turned it off!
