Folks complained about links on the forum pages not

opening to a new page.

Here is a semi-fix for this issue.

If you have a link to a webpage, you can use this -


BBcode -

{URL}= http:\\link.com

This will provide a thumbnail of the website that is a working link. This opens into another separate page.

Example:

{URL}= http://www.wavefootball.com



Obviously No*

The result is:



Without the*



The thumbnail is a link that works and opens to the new webpage.

All he really meant to say was paste the url and put "web_site" (without the parentheses, enclosed in square brackets) in front of it, and "/web_site" (without the parentheses, enclosed in square brackets) behind it.

The rest was just an attempt to get the idea across to those who may still not know what a url is.
