For those of you who were concerned that YOGWF was unavailable for a while, it seems to be fixed now.

Thanks to JtS and our network techs for responding quickly to get us back up. This is a big weekend, so we definitely don't need any technical glitches to knock us off the air.

To all: do not hesitate to let us know if you think the site is down. Jot down the email addys somewhere, so that you can get to them if the site is offline.

For those of you who have been patiently bearing with the brief outages, here's an update:

The site has been crashing when the server suddenly eats up all its memory. The server logs indicate no problem, so Tech Support is trying a process of elimination to figure out why.

Eventually, it will be fixed, but in the meantime we might experience brief outages from time to time. Please have Faith and Patience and things will be back to normal (only better).

So why don't we just go back to the old server, the one that just seemed to go on and on without.........crashing

As I understand it, we are not on a server dedicated to us--we share it with others. There are several servers involved with our host.

Growth caught up with the old server, so YOGWF had to be moved to another one in order to accommodate the software upgrades. Pete's working hard to track it down. To his credit, he has been pretty responsive...I've begun to suspect that he works 24/7! He's always been very responsive when we have a problem.
