At this point I hope Navy wins all but 1 or 2 fewer games than us!

Thinking of the “what is success” discussion. Not being 21pt underdogs in any conference game would be a good step in the right direction. I don’t think we have been in a couple seasons so we need to keep that going.

Interesting note, Tulsa has beaten UCF 7 of the last 8 meetings. Obviously that goes back to the old Cusa days, but I still find it interesting

And Tulsa beat UCF last year which makes the UCF -21.5 line... Interesting.

SMU leads Memphis 24-3 in the 2nd qtr

Meanwhile, while not conference related, Memphis’ prior coach, Mike Norvell’s FSU Seminoles trail Jacksonville St 14-0 start of the 2nd qtr

Whatever happened to ECU is about to turn the corner with their new HC? Can we just trade them out for Coastal Carolina?

I thought the same thing. They were supposed to be “tough” this year.

I saw that happen. Looked bad on tv. Hope he has a speedy recovery on Oct 17th.

SMU won 30-27 btw

SMU student section removed by police for not adhering to masks/social distancing.

There are two ways of reading Air Force's sizable lead on Navy:
1) The navy of the BYU game was the real navy
2) not playing a game until now has made Air Force really fresh and focused

Considering we are Houston's first opponent, neither read is good news for us

I think Navy is who we thought they were. We lost that game more than Navy won it.

26-25 UCF with 2:30 left 3rd qtr. Tulsa hit the upright on the potential game tying PAT.
Both teams look beatable. Each team has committed 3 turnovers and allowed a safety.

First time for me seeing a ball carrier (UCF WR) called for targeting and ejected.

31-26 Tulsa after missed 2pt conv. About 13 minutes left

Edit: 31-26 is the final. Tulsa dropped a pick 6 on the last UCF drive.

Make it 8/9 for Tulsa. I guess they are UCF's kryptonite the way Navy is ours. That one does hurt the league because UCF was the only school with a win over a "P5" even if it was GT. SMU has looked good, but seems to be lacking on defense. Cinci has looked good as well, but doesn't have much on offense. Everybody else is knife fighting behind those two for now.

How about a goal of some other conference teams are 21 point underdogs to us?
