Is it too late to swap USF for UConn?
Btw, per Twitter, Austin Peay is 0 for their last 3 years or something crazy like that.

Until 35 hours from now, all I have to do is read tea leaves and watch the clock.long green wrote:Always dangerous to read too much into Week 1, let alone the fragments of games that seem to go to folks' head around here.

Jmu put a hurting on ecu. It wasn't even as close as the score

Boneyardbanter is probably interesting reading right now. Or maybe not.
On edit: So I go over there and there's thread where the poster can't find a game they can win this year. "Maybe UConn" he says. Someone else responds that "Tulane is our only hope".
So they still have a sense of humor!

ecu scored last, with 23 seconds on the clock to cut it to 34-14. Gave up over 600 yards.WaveProf wrote:Jmu put a hurting on ecu. It wasn't even as close as the score
I can't see them carrying more than two wins into our game and I'm having a very tough time finding a second win. Remember that ECU cut their losses with John Thompson after just two years. ECU takes pride in their football program; they also know what happens to programs at this (our) level if you suck for too long. They're looking at 6-18 at best with Montgomery (if he finishes the year). Considering our history vs ECU and at ECU I don't blame their fans at all for not respecting us. But if we carry pretty much this same team into that game they will be wishing they were still playing James Madison.
