Watching this game and a couple of things stand out.
- Houston is playing in Texas Southern's gym.
- Wichita St travels with a lot of support.
- Score: UH 26 Wichita St 17 with 3:30 left in first half
- At the half UH 35 WSU 26

Hate to say it, but that's not good for the AAC at all. We'd do better to have a few really good (top 10 or 15) teams than trying to argue "this shows parity". Thanks to ESPN and the perceived P5 in basketball, the rest of the country is likely to say "WSU clearly isn't as good as we thought" rather than "the AAC is deep and strong".

I wonder what the Shocker faithful are saying now. If I recall the message board that was linked here when they first joined the AAC, they thought the league would be a cakewalk.

I mean, clearly WSU isn't as good as their record the last few years would make one think
