Root for Bama, Northwestern, and Texas. All three win and UCF has a legit shot.

Seems unlikely with Milton out. If he were still playing, and the scenario you describe occurs, then they might squeak in. If left out, they'd have serious reason to complain.

As it is, the committee will say Milton being out is enough to keep UCF out. They do take injuries into consideration. How they beat Memphis (no given at this point) would also have an impact.

True but Ohio State went through their first and second string QBs in the final few games a couple of years ago and played the CG with their third string, and it didn't bother them. Maybe that gives precedent.

You have to wonder if the committee feels any social media pressure knowing the way UCF went full-on last year with the "National Champions" blitz, and knowing it would be 10-fold if it happened again. And the looming threat that someone will start seeking legal action as well.

Yep but you said it earlier in the year in so many words, the committee wants to get OSU in and will bend over backwards to do so. They only need a reason to keep UCF out. I hope you're right about social/legal pressure winning out though.

ECU down 24-0 midway through second quarter. Guess the whole rally around the fired coach thing didn't work out?
