I’m looking forward to the Memphis and Houston games. The first should be a plain old good game, the second intrigues me because I think OU could look really different in a cool way with Hurts at QB. Of course both could be eaten up by Dorian coverage by the local TV station. That will piss me off because this particular station hasn’t done real news in years and I just know they’ll try to start back now.

And even the one not. As I told a friend, they're 1-0 and even though they may finish 1-11, they'll always have this week to cherish...

Any win of any kind is a good night for UConn :)

And for the record, it’s less embarrasing to lose 49-0 to the badgers than to lose 28-7 to Sparty but have -73 yards rushing

I am watching CFGD this morning for the first time in a long time and I remember why I was turned off on it back then. Literally just heard it said, "it's incredible to think that an AAC team could be favored over an SEC team" when discussing Memphis / Ole Miss.

In other words, no matter what UCF may have done the past few years, no matter what other OOC things have happened, no matter how bad a Vandy or USC have been, the perception on ESPN is that every SEC school is better than every AAC school.

This doesn't surprise me at all, and it's a good reason to avoid CFGD

Almost half, 13-0 Memphis. Most impressive is they’ve 110% stopped ole miss from rushing at all. Negative yards

15-10, Memphis. Final. Mike Norvell has punched his ticket and placed it over Matt Luke's vacant, staring eyes.

Memphis should have won that by at least 2 TD's.

Ole Miss with no yards rushing in first half, is the only thing that concerns me about this Memphis team's win. Otherwise, if anything, they underperformed by a bit.

Good for them, the AAC needed this win. But I don't think Ole Miss is going to be all that much improved this year from last, and while I think Memphis is improved, not as much as the pundits are going to treat it after this. Do I predict we beat Memphis? I wouldn't bet money on it, but it'll go to the wire.

Bbbbbbut don't forget, this outcome is INCREDIBLE because no matter how good Memphis is or how bad Ole Miss is, the AAC simply CAN'T be as good as the SEC. It's true because I heard it on ESPN. :evil2:

Also note, at gametime the line was Memphis by 5.5. Memphis missed an XP and got a friggin safety to be at 5 but not 6. Vegas betters nailed that, eh?
