AAC Basketball thread

Like the “future opponents” thread for football we can discuss all things conference opponents here.

#13 Memphis ended the first half on a 12-3 run to take a lead and now lead #19 Tennessee 37-33 with 11:30 left

Cincinnati blew a lead in a bizarre finish against Colgate.

Game was tied, and then Cincinnati chucked up a half court shot with 5 seconds left. Colgate got the rebound and then Cincinnati fouled. Colgate made 1/2 free throws with 1.5 seconds left to take the lead and win.

Wouldn't have expected Cincinatti to lose at home but Colgate is a legit and very well-coached mid-major.

Keeping an eye on Temple - the coaching change and some new players seems to have them headed in the right direction.

True dat. They have some pretty good defensive chops so far.
