I won’t be able to update any more of the scores this year, so If a mod or somebody wants to go ahead and do it, I’m fine with that. And if not, that’s fine too.

Let’s beat Southern Miss!!!!

I don’t know how to sign in to yogwf there w/ the anti troll protection on the site, and I don’t want to learn, because if I could log in, I would, and I don’t need to be on a college football message board when I’m supposed to be on vacation.

I’ll be watching the game (fingers crossed on technology) and I’ll be missing y’all on Gameday, but figuring out how to log in to yogwf while gone is not knowledge I need to have :)

Wait. You're seriously going to be there?

Super cheap airfare flying out morning after Christmas + a free place to stay = 11 more days of Christmas.

Temple getting their azz kicked by Mack. These bowl games each year make the AAC look overrated.

They just reinforce the P5 narrative. UNC basically played one score games all season, but Temple can't even manage that. Very disappointing for the conference

Seems like every bowl season brings disappointment to the conference. Hopefully our game is a bright spot.

One of those one score games was against Clemson.

Wasn’t Tulane one of two AAC wins last bowl season? Let’s do it again, though I would like for a Memphis to beat Penn St.

Yes it was. That was Clemson's annual sloppy game. The fact that UNC played so many close games against blahnik competition tells me they aren't anything special.

And yes we won and Cinci won last bowl season. That's it. The conference has to start showing better on bigger stages. Memphis beating PSU would go along way toward hiding other poor performances just like UCF beating Auburn two years ago did

Memphis is wearing the most blah uniforms ever worn by any team in a bowl game.

Their play is looking good early on, though. We'll see how the stamina factor plays out as the game progresses.

Getting knocked around now. Penn St has outscored them 21-0 since I turned it on, 28-13 PSU mid 2nd.

35-23 PSU at half.
The over/under was 59.5. For the whole game, not the first half! I suspect the second half won't end up 0-0 so if you took the over you're a happy gambler.

Memphis basketball is on ESPN 2. During a lull in the action the arena suddenly erupted in cheers. Memphis football had scored. 35-30 and they just got an interception.

BTW, Memphis basketball was playing UNO. They won 97-55. Up next is Tulane.

Another AAC bowl loss. 53-39 Penn St. Highest scoring Cotton Bowl ever.

I don’t care what the computers say, the AAC is not better than the ACC. Is it closer, yes, but we still have work to do.

A three game sample of glorified exhibitions doesn’t really change 3 months of football.

Do you really believe the AAC is better than the ACC? Where would we finish in that league? Where would Temple finish in that league? USF, UCF, ECU, UConn, Tulsa, Houston, SMU? Memphis, Navy, and Cinncy would be competitive. Just my opinion.

Yep. We want to win bowl games for perception but in reality they are exhibitions. Players are sitting, coaching staffs are moving around...they dont count any more than the regular season and from a measuring point should probably count less.

Temple didn't have any coaches moving around. They didn't have players sitting. These are not exhibitions. They are post season games and they count on the record. We need to do better. Much better.

Think what you want, but bowls outside of the playoff and maybe a couple of the NY6 games are essentially exhibitions. We want to win them and should try to win as many as possible but they really don't have any bearing beyond this season.

No Temple didn't have anybody moving around. That's one data point across several seasons of data points.
