It's all over the internet and news sources. Interestingly apparently WCC said no thanks to Oly sports. I have no idea if AAC is interested for football only here but I guess if ESPN pays for expansion then it's possible.
AAC needs to keep a death lock on NY6 access slot. If UC takes it that's the fourth different AAC team to do it. That's what will set the table well for next CFP negotiation.

While I’m sure that it’s still true, the article I saw on it was based on emails exchanged immediately in the wake of the MWC decision to postpone football to the spring or cancel it.

When BE atomized, BSU bailed and SDSU reluctantly followed.
It seems Aresco is today managing this well. Get BSU football only. It will help AAC P6 brand. Cost is BSU attitude will make it high maintenance but so be it. You want P6 status in about four years or not?
If ultimately BSU wants all sports then SDSU will surely follow again and add one of the MW Colorado schools if BYU won't budge.
San Diego is 200 miles closer by air to Houston than Boise. It is the largest (or near the top) metro market with only one top tier pro team and that's baseball. Tulane would probably move to the East but if Texas schools would put up with the brunt of the travel for all sports then do it.

Suppposedly BSU doesn't want all sports due to the added travel costs. The Big West has emerged as a possibility for the non-football sports (which are way behind the football program competitively).

After watching the Potato Bowl, if I’m the AAC I tell them the only stipulation is they get rid of that awful turf. It is not TV friendly and the American has a deal to have every game shown on TV or ESPN+
