well maybe this year's champ... and this was UCF's first championship game appearance in a few years... I will say that USF's pitcher this morning must not be among these "top national softball players" from the AAC.. she had one pitch.. a medium speed drop ball... girl hit a 3 run bomb off her in the first and she was in the dugout when they recorded the 3rd out of the first. EDIT: I looked at the box score.. the stud pitcher USF rode to 34 wins this year was going to pitch, but they went with another lady... my guess is they felt good about their chances at a bid so they rested their starter for next weekend.Yankeewave wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 8:17 am are we about to lose our best softball programs to the big 12?
I don’t know if the American truly has some of the best softball players, but they are better than American baseball as a whole.GretnaGrn wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 9:29 am UCF hosts as the national 16 seed. Wichita and USF get in as well.

While this is true, it's also a sad statement compared to where the AAC once was in baseball.waverider wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 12:16 pmI don’t know if the American truly has some of the best softball players, but they are better than American baseball as a whole.GretnaGrn wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 9:29 am UCF hosts as the national 16 seed.
