Some of these states (like Minn. & Wis. & others) really have only have 1 D1 program.

Yale did go 9-1 last year. Only Buddy Teevens’ Dartmouth team beat them!

We were driving around the campus last weekend, and they have an enormous banner on the fence of their practice field (part of the entire covering of the field) that reads "National champions- only undefeated team." Thoughts back to '98 quickly arose in my mind.
