That's hilarious.

I think going from Dortmund to Liverpool would be a step down given where the two clubs are at this point. I think he ends up at Bayern within 5 years when he will be one of the best 10 players in the world. I really believe he is that good.

I am going to the game on Friday and am really excited. I'll give you the update on what the atmosphere was like after the game. I have a feeling it will be a lot of fun, but my conclusion that Red Bull Arena should never host a qualifier will not change.

I'm holding out some hope
U.S. Soccer, in order to limit the amount of away fans, had six presales for groups that would most likely support the USMNT. The presales catered to the likes of those who were part of the U.S. Soccer Supporters Club, season ticket holders of the New York Red Bulls, who play at Red Bull Arena, and those who follow U.S. Soccer on their social platforms.

Having lived most of my life in New Jersey, I can say that New York/New Jersey fans tend to be extremely knowledgeable about sports but lack the passion as most of the country. Crowds tend to be more laid back with the exception of Rangers fans.

It will be a pro US crowd and loud but will not reach anywhere near the level it would in many other venues.

Place packed over 2 hours from game time. Lots of Costa Rican fans as well. Glad I could be here but somebody has some explaining to do.

Only US Soccer would schedule a game in the area with the most Costa Rican's in the country. Thanks for the road game.

Their fans are very classy. Several shook my hand after the game and wished us luck.

Must beat Honduras.

Congratulations Ticos. Russia bound.

Listless, hesitant, uncoordinated. This US team is a train wreck against decent competition.

It was a great atmosphere and would be a good place for a Gold Cup game or a friendly but just not for a big game. I would estimate a 1/4 to a 1/3 of the crowd was Costa Rican. Unacceptable for a qualifier. Most nations have a national stadium and a real home field advantage. The US needs to settle in on 2 to 3 stadiums and play all qualifiers there. I'd go Seattle, Kansas City and maybe Columbus. We try too hard to grow the game by playing all over US.

Missing Brooks and Yedlin was huge. Tim Ream was just awful. With who is available, I would like to see Besler over Ream. Howard looked very hesitant. Fabian Johnson didn't show up.

The Bradley haters are out on the internet but I thought he played well. This team needs him.

Nevas was just sick in goal for them. The save he made on Pulisic was as good as it gets.

Tied for 3rd with Honduras and 1 point up on Panama. It's imperative to get at least a point at Honduras and to beat Panama.

Besler hasn't been playing well. Zusi is not a great option for international matches. Lichaj should start. Gonzalez when Brooks can't go. Not sure why Arena didn't bring in Matt Miazga. Or even look at Cameron Carter-Vickers. Klinsmann hated MLS, Arena loves it too much. We're better than Honduras, but winning down there is tough, and they put it in the afternoon, and we wilted in the afternoon in 2013.
