Gutsy in PKs and England moves on. They were lucky. Have to be better in the later rounds, but a finals appearance is theirs for the taking.

Brazil was strong down the stretch, but not strong enough. Belgium & France are one semi.

Count me in as happy that Brazil is out. As the country with the most World Cup titles, I had not interest in seeing them win another. France vs Brazil probably would've been a great game, though.

Looking forward to seeing who comes out of the other side now. One thing is certain: this will be an all European semifinal.

Anyone else find the irony in the anti-discrimination weekend is in Russia with the Russians "participating?"

Pretty crappy game so far. Low level of play, lack of crispness. I'm guessing the reds are playing for PKs
