Just another win for Troy. What an empty stadium in the 4th quarter. ... and it was Homecoming. How sad.

Shall we adjourn to tiger droppings for the bbq? The most disappointed person in all this is Scott Rabalais who took the boondoggle trip to London to cover the Saints but missed the chance to fire up the Orgeron sacrificial pit in person. Key will be if he files a story from London at 4am GMT with his "thoughts" on the matter. We may have to wait until Tuesday.

You should copyright that and sell T-shirts in BR.

And Lsu has to pay Troy $945,000.

That wasn't as big an upset as Appy State over Michigan, but it's orders of magnitude more satisfying to me.

lsu faces Florida next. The Gators will start at QB Feleipe Frank, a former lsu commit. When he flipped, lsu scrambled and landed Lindsey Scott.

And Troy's defensive coordinator is former Tulane Co-DC Jon Sumrall.

No way. They would owe him $12million and they are already on a payment plan to Miles for $900k. If they wait until next year, the fee drops to $8.5million. $6million the year after then $4.5 the next and $1million in his last year. In other words, they are stuck at least this season. Might have donors willing to put up a good bit.

Ogeron's tenure at Ole Miss was noteworthy for good recruiting, bad football and how miserable everyone in the program was. Looks like he's scaled it up for LSU.

Except maybe the recruiting part?

If you want to know the current state of mind of the PTB at LSU, look at Rabalais's expected column tomorrow.

Even though some in the LSU fan base may think Alleva and friends are reincarnations of George Steinbrenner, I assume Orgeron is safe for two years unless LSU has an absolute collapse in the meantime like the 0-fers thrown up at USM and UCF.

More interesting though is Mr. "I'm a Search Committee of One" Alleva safe? UN canned its AD to send a message to Riley. Sorry to recommend reading smoke signals but Rabalais is so wired into LSU eco-system, if something personnel wise is up, he will be the best indicator in the coming days and weeks.
