PSU at OSU should be worth watching.

I'm not sure we really know how good OSU is. They've lost the only quality game they've played and that was convincingly. We will start to find out this week. I'm pulling for OSU (which I never do except vs LSU). Not a James Franklin fan.

No. 4 TCU at Iowa State | 3:30 p.m. | ABC/ESPN2

Here's my upset alert for the weekend. TCU is having a great year but a lot of Big 12 teams get to this point and stub their toe. Iowa State is enjoying Matt Campbell while they have him.

No. 16 NC State at No. 13 Notre Dame | 3:30 p.m. | NBC

Notre Dame is under-ranked. Sneaky very good game.

Missouri at Connecticut | 6:30 p.m. | CBSSN

I think UConn has a great shot at this one. Their offense has really picked up, they're at home, and Edsall vs Odom is a big coaching mismatch which could cancel out any personnel advantage Missouri has.

Mississippi State at Texas A&M | 7:15 p.m. | ESPN

State either blows you out or you blow them out. Win this one and Kevin Sumlin could be 9-2 going into the LSU game.

Tennessee at Kentucky | 7:30 p.m. | SECN

Butch Jones is a dead coach coaching even if he wins four out of his last five. This is his chance to make a case for a good G5 job.

Boise State at Utah State | 10:00 p.m. | CBSSN

Just wanted to say thank you to our Broncos for gift-wrapping that NY6 bowl slot for the AAC.

No. 15 Washington State at Arizona | 9:30 p.m. | TBD
No. 11 USC at Arizona State | 10:45 p.m. | ESPN

both Arizona teams are red-hot. Both coaches have probably iced down their hot seats for the year. Watch Clay Helton start to turn his gold mine into a chinchilla ranch.

One good win against Marshall isn't going to erase the stink of that game. They play in the CUSA championship game and then we can talk.

FIU ending up actually being a competent team at least moved the goalposts for us, but the next step in building the program (back) will be beating competent teams. Army and ULL are the only bowl teams we've beaten under Fritz so far.

And yes. This Tulane team, with a one and sometimes less than one dimensional offense, would win at least 8 games in CUSA. Easy to get fat on the UNC-Charlottes of the world.

Like I said last week, no way UCF and USF play as a battle of top ten teams.

Meanwhile the CFP is turning into the joyous mess we saw coming. Only Alabama, Georgia, Miami, and Wisconsin remain undefeated. The former two would have to play each other and if they are undefeated when they do, both likely still get in. Miami has to play a hot Notre Dame, likely sending the winner of that to the tourney (if either winner wins out). That leaves a spot for the Big 10 champ if it's Wisconsin, but otherwise it's a big stinking argument over whether one of the other one-loss Big 10 teams, or Notre Dame, deserves the other spot more than the Big 12 winner. Imagine if Notre Dame wins out and Wisconsin goes undefeated and the SEC plays out like above, you know ND is getting in. That's a nightmare for the Big 10 and the Big 12 and ACC would get shut out too. There's a good chance we get another push for an 8 team tourney.

Very nice game for Tanner tonight. Threw for 430 yards and led a good comeback. Good to see him have some success.

N'Western lasts longer than MSU - Good win for the Wildcats. Guess they're still not selling peanuts in the Stadium.

Heh. If you read the Nebraska version of Rabalais this was the greatest performance in football since the last game Nebraska won.
