Assume ND’s beach volleyball pulled one out? Otherwise no one (except me, 54 and lg) were watching.

Sorry, but the first post only contains a large white square for me. If someone can help a luddite see what is there, would be appreciative...

Notre Dame fight song

It's Holy Cross High School's fight song. They stole it from us!

Around here I can identify a number of the university fight songs that end up as local high school fight songs. Amazing that the folks at those schools think their song is original, in many cases

I think there are something like 26,000 US high schools. I think 10% of them use the Norte Dame fight song.

Horton Watkins in Ladue used to use the Tulane fight song. I heard one school here in E. Tennessee using the U. of Illinois fight song. Also have heard "On Wisconsin" by one school. My high school in St. Louis, Chaminade, had an original; my kids' in Kingsport also has an original, I think
