The SEC has taken an interest in "transfers issues"

Post by OGSB »

The NCAA Transfer Working Group has been mulling potential changes to transfer bylaws for more than a year, and Sankey made clear last month the SEC’s stance on the issue: Coaches should not be allowed to stop players from transferring to certain destinations.

It's a bit more nuanced than the quote.

I peraonally think grad students should be able to go anywhere. I have no problem with limiting intra-conference transfers for undergrads, (unless it is to a school in their home state) but the future schedule limitation is moronic.

That is the problem. To most, Graduate= get a piece of paper that gives me a one up on an application. That is the truth. I think they should create a coaching Football or Baseball degree. Why not be honest about whats going on. They would arguably have more market value than gender studies etc.
