Ah. I get the point. I am pretty sure Freeze doesn't deserve that much flack.

I saw three different articles in the past week r I saw three different articles in the past week uniting Art Briles to Liberty. I wonder now if the University spread those rumors on purpose to make freeze sound like a step up

Les coming in a little weak in his opening recruiting pitch, imo. :-)

K-State hires ND State's coach.
Memphis loses both its coordinators. OC to OC at Auburn. DC to HC at Northern Arizona. I'm guessing we took their OC successor, so that search will be interesting.

Kudos to Fritz for being decisive and closing the deal.

However Norvell calls his own plays and Gus will return to doing so at Auburn with new OC. Perhaps Fritz wins Hall in a contested beauty contest anyway with UM?

Interestingly he’s going to finish out the ND St season. Being in the playoffs that means it’s open as to when he becomes Kansas St’s full time coach. SD St @ ND St is on right now.

Yup. I give it about 2-3 years and then Meyer’s brain cyst will be miraculously cured by some snake wiggling laying on of the hands preacher with an assist by the Battelle Institute next door. Then voila, he shall be healed and loosed upon yet again the college coaching landscape. He cannot help himself.

Looking for snake handlers? I have been told that there are a few churches in reasonably close proximity where that is still practiced...

This thread should pick back up on Black Monday when the NFL coaching search season really gets going. I think there’s quite a good chance that a college head gets hoovered up and starts a spasm of carousel activity at that level.

What I find interesting is that the job isn't filled yet. I assumed when Hall withdrew his name an announcement of someone else was imminent.
