Last night NIU stormed back to beat Buffalo 30-29 after trailing 29-10.

Washington beat Utah 10-3.

The ending of the Washington game was a horrible no call by the ref. But I didn't like Utah's play calling on the last drive either.

Would have been cool to see Utah in the Rose Bowl, but they were without their starting qb and rb last night. Washington should be imminently beatable for whichever Big Ten team makes the Rose.

Next up is ULL at Appalachian St and Texas vs Oklahoma. Both games are rematches.

Already 7-3 App St.

Texas scores 7 on their game's opening possession.

BTW, ECU is at N Carolina St today too.

Good chance we play the loser of App State vs ULL in our bowl game.....

And any shot UCF has at the CFP starts with Texas winning (then Bama and Northwestern)

I’d prefer somebody we never or rarely play.

Oklahoma takes the lead on Texas, 20-14.

Agreed, but the fact remains that rumors are flying everywhere we are going to Orlando (to the point that even the band is scheduling exams around it), and it's been publicly announced that the loser of the Sunbelt game will be the AAC's opponent in Orlando. Nothing on the AAC side is set in stone (yet), but odds are at this point that we play the loser of the Sunbelt game

App St 17-13 3rd quarter. ULL stopped App St on downs on the App St side of the field. Overcame 3 straight penalties to start the drive, now inside the 20.

If only there was a picture that could encapsulate the obviousness of this statement

U-La-La's team stayed here in Kingsport Thursday night (we are about 80 minutes from Boone); their buses were parked at the Meadowview resort across from my office
