Had to score a TD late to do it but Jayhawks win over Indiana St 24-17.

too bad they don't play Tennessee this year; the Vols lost to Georgia State 38-30. I know an awful lot of people who will not be very happy tomorrow...

Are they still happy they used a connection to Penn State to run Schiano off before he started because they didn’t like him as a football coach?

Penn State seems to have recovered. 79 points in the first game? Alrighty then.

I dont think Schiano was the answer either. At this point its systemic

I think the way he was ousted is an extremely large portion of the systemic issue.

They caved to a sports talk radio host inciting his fan base.

You'll get no argument from me on that.

They also stormed the Bastille when it looked like they might hire Dave Doeren, a qualified, solid head coach. Tennessee is getting everything they deserve. So too will Clay Travis someday.

Don't forget Leach was on the cusp as well.

Speaking of Les Miles and Leach and all thing sleazy in the coaching world, this article about the LSU coaching search that led to Orgeron facing Herman this coming weekend is interesting. A true example of how social media and "the experts" truly have no idea what's going on if they aren't meant to know what's going on.

Many of those things were public knowledge at the time (the second pursuit of Fisher, the romance with Herman). What stood out about the events is how fast they all happened. This story fills in the gaps entirely due to the cooperation of Joe Alleva, who seems to be enjoying twisting the tails of all the LSU fans who hate his guts. If they’re happy now they owe it all to me, he’s saying.

The spy thing is a good detail. It’s reminiscent of the stories Pete Finney told about a few coaching searches in his book about LSU football. Very little has changed.

Just noticed, Kansas lost at home in Week 2 to Coastal Carolina 12-7.

I think Clemson could let Trevor Lawrence take the next 2 years off to workout for NFL teams ala a high school junior taking college visits and still cruise to the ACC title game. This is not a very good collection of football teams.

Good demo by a good coach of how you prepare a team to put a game behind them.

Miles is a good coach; his biggest fault is he doesn't know how to manage a clock.

Getting blasted today. 35-0 TCU, not even halftime yet. Could get worse.

The OOC honeymoon is over... Time for Kansas to be Kansas.

(I'm guessing the Boston College thing was an anomaly or else BC is actually bad)

They’re midway through the 3rd, Kansas has 57 yards of offense.

They hire Eric Price as OC?

I mean, Les Miles as head coach, so...

while burrows was on his way to six td passes or whatever against Vandy, ESPN announcers specifically noted "this is not Les Miles's offense."

Kansas actually took a 7-0 lead on Oklahoma with a 9 play, 98 yard TD drive but they lose 45-20.
