14-0 at half. Scary moment when a student photographer was knocked unconscious at the end of a play that finished out of bounds and wheeled out on a stretcher.

Memphis 42-20 headed to the 4th. ESPN was saying their TOP is only 13:48 after 3 quarters but between the 2 teams they only had 35 minutes.

6-0 at half. Temple punter accidentally kneeled while picking up a low snap setting Cincinnati up at the 6 but only managed a field goal.

An early clue that we weren’t as good as we thought we were.

This won’t change the fact that we finished the season literally mediocre , but Navy beats Houston 56-41.

One of our recruiting mavens can correct me but I vaguely recall Fritz recruited the Alabama kicker, Bulovas, very hard out of high school in Mandeville.

Otherwise I guess Tulane was truly an average team. Beat everyone it should have and lost to teams with 8,9,9, 9 (Navy 10 if it beats Army), 10 and 11 victories. I don't recall a record like that for the Wave ever.
