I know the experts value brevity but context is everything. Congrats to Mr. Dion as a pitcher from Sulphur. His opponent was Prairie View at home. I'll take what our guy did last night.

Long since lost in my head regarding actual details but I recall listening to a radio game back in the 80s where Roger Clemens then pitching for the Red Sox did something similar. Against a MLB roster that kind of showing is phenomenal.
After you've been on fire under Arctic pack ice everything else is a walk in the park.

Still a pretty good feat regardless of the opponent. My favorite was watching Kerry Wood record 20Ks against the Astros in his rookie season. I believe I watched that game after getting home from one of our football wins in ‘98.

I knew it was in ‘98, but for some reason I thought I remember it being a weekend. Was probably after getting home from a class at Tulane then.
