Unfortunately...

UALR defeated Ole Miss
Ohio defeated Marshall
Tenn Tech defeated Lipscomb
Auburn defeated South Alabama

So, I'm not sure how big of difference the St. Mary's win makes...

I went after 5 1/2 (for free -- Wally Pontiff, Sr. isn't getting a dime from me) and it was a packed house. The sections "looked" full with the exception of the last sections in right and center which were about 50%. There were maybe a couple hundred on the berm.

So I hate to say it but they drew a nice crowd. Winning an NC will do that.

Uhhh, no.

I remember Rice and SLU.

BTW, it's not a tourney -- just one game.

I tell you what this game makes me appreciate Rick Jones Midweek Pitching Management Style...

There have been 16 pitchers (9 USM & 7 LSU) used... That will make for a long game.

Did USM have a good contingent? Or was it all LSU fans?

A small contingent (couple hundred, maybe) in one section beind their dugout. Just one other in my section (I wore my found USM visor!). So I think it's safe to say fewer than 500.

I looked at the Rivals Scoreboard thread for the game, and I swear within like 6 posts there was an LSU fan asking if Southern Miss was throwing a weekend starter.....it never changes with those people

Well, as you know, LSU is every opponents' World Series. In Purple and Gold Vision - this game means more to Southern Miss than getting back to Omaha.

They're on their ninth pitcher so they probably used all three weekend starters

On second thought, with 17 Pitchers used already  - one team might need to eventually bring one in.

Wow, they struggled to beat CUSA bottom feeder USM in 13 innings in a mid-week game by 1 run.............

This kind of thread (tracking games in progress) is why the scoreboard topic exists.
It's not restricted to Tulane games only.
