Great Memory. It is my all time favorite Tulane game. I'd kill for a copy of it.
As would I. I met my wife DURING that game. Despite not caring one iota about Tulane, she sat down and watched the rest of the game with me. Can you say "keeper"?

The Rebels will probably just start their preps for their SEC opener; I'm sure they're scout team can give them a tougher time than we will.

Let's prepare to be scolded by the "Wise Owls" of the Board that explain Tulane intentionally went with a vanilla offense to not tip our cards to Ole Miss.

My final thoughts on this game: Unfortunately, I think the team's reaction after the last play explains how much confidence they have in themselves. I remember a Tulane team that was absolutely disgusted that they let Northwestern St hang around (yes, even after victory - none of this a win is a win sh*t). This squad just acted like they were just won their First Round NCAA Basketball game as a 14 seed. Act like you have been there before boys...especially against this level of competition.

I have a copy of the game. A USM fan who used to post on here made it for me. When I get around to unpacking my DVDs I'll make some copies.

Edit: I remembered I can't make copies anymore, but if someone can, I can mail them the DVD and they can copy it and mail it back.

At least into week 2.

We can win the next one, too, if the team really wants to.

I was on the sideline for that game. It was an amazing atmosphere. A lot of guys from the 1998 squad have been looking to get some copies. I'll go on record, I'll donate $200 to TAF in your name if you eventually get me one sir!!!

Curious, QBU... what about that game made it so special for you? I remember it was back and forth, and came down to the 4th quarter, but what made it more special than, say, the USM win, Louisville, LA Tech, BYU?

DCG, you should not be too down. After all, you predicted 28-21, so this was about what you expected!

Pete/FW...perhaps we could work out a production process with several duplicators (make a couple and mail them to others who make a couple and mail them to ....etc. ?

If there is enough demand, that is...

Like I told Pete in a PM, I have the Army, USM and Houston games from 1998. We'll figure something out if there is a big demand.

It's curious how Yogwf has "evolved" in that direction, but I've noticed it, too. Reality has a way of intruding in the most random spaces.
I have believed since last season ended that we will go either 0-12 or 1-11 this season, depending on what happens in the next two minutes.

Right now, it's looking like a pretty good prediction.
I still think we have a legitimate chance to take Army and Rice at home. I realize one game does not a season make. But 3-9 looks like this team's ceiling.

Marshall may be real doody. YOu never know when some teams fall apart. USM looks not that great too.
We'll learn a ton next week.
