It will be interesting to see how Ole Miss comes out on Offense, conservative or attacking our DB's again.

So, let me be the person that I hate so much:

+4 (if Tulane converts from 4th and 1, instead of the Field Goal in the 1st Half)
+7 (if Tulane converts a TD instead of fumbling inside the Ole Miss 10)

= 24-24 Game.

Well, it was a nice comeback, but Masoli just ended the game with that 60+ yard pass

If we hold them to a FG, still a two possesion game.

We did, and it is, but we have to score 2 TDs and hold them in the last 7. Don't see it happening.

Someone may have gotten the spread at +22 Tulane. When you combine a 5 team parlay, that included the other 4 games in the books (Thanks to Hawaii, Oregon, Alabama, and ECU)... There is such a thing as a moral victory.

So, if the receiver had been another 10 yards down the field...he still would have let the ball go right through his hands. Poor effort.

That makes no sense whatsoever. It still doesn't change the fact that it was a horrible call that did not give us a good chance, if executed, of picking up the first down.

2 TD loss with potential at the end is not a blowout. I stand corrected.

Oh, I agree it was a terrible play (first and foremost). I just wanted to vent at the effort of player execution at the terrible play call.

I agree completely. There was no chance for a first down on that play. (at least the way Ole Miss had it covered)

Can you imagine how fun it would be to go to the Dome if the pirate was at the helm. Amazing!

Exactly. Utter stupidity. This staff doesn't have a clue. They clearly don't have their sights set on winning--instead they just go through the motions and try to avoid a blowout. Pitiful.

Cowen needs to get the 7 figure checkbook out and hire Leach. We can even remind Cowen that Leach is a lawyer--a pseudo lawyer perhaps, but the pseudo intellectual quals would fit right in with the Tulane Model.
