Now 45-14 UCF and still a lot of game left. For those with a memory, "no mas" sure comes to mind.

We can not get off blocks at all. Defense looks horrible. They are running basically same play over and over and we can not stop it.

I am on my 2nd very stiff and very spicy Bloody Mary. It helps.

If we punt, BT has mailed it in for the year. I will have lost all respect.

We aren't pu$$ies like Roberto Duran. We just have to keep playing. "No mas" shouldn't be in our vocabulary.

Having said that, once OD gets 100 yards, we need to take him out. No need to get him hurt, and AW should get as many carries as possible these next two games. He's gone through a lot over the course of his career (including his senior year at BMT West Brook), and deserves to touch the ball. However, despite how the coaching staff has used him thus far, he needs to get the ball on runs around the corner. Inside running is not his strong suit.

Again, a stiff-arm just pushes the defender out of the play. Sheesh.

Easy. ECU is not good. They're 6-5 and have given up 42 points to UAB and 76 points to Navy. Their defense was ranked #119 in total defense and #118 in scoring defense out of 120 BEFORE giving up 62 today.

II doubt seriously anyone is banned unless they really try hard. There are no real @ss&%$es left on YOGWF. We all will discuss what needs to happen after next week. Hopefully the discussion is with intelligence and facts. (I have mine ready). At the moment its way too "emotional" and current (being nice)...
The game is indescribable so far. Also it is far from being over (for good or very bad)...Except for single coverage/bump and run on that last TD.... :xmad:

Of course there are, I'm still here

Naaahhhh...

You are Professor @ss&%$es...

Good explanation. It seems like coaching makes all the difference in the world in CUSA. Skip Holtz leaves ECU, and there's an immediate drop off. No team (except potentially Tulane and SMU) has a major recruiting advantage.

We cannot even come close to stopping the run. Wow, are we bad on defense now, after being so good at the beginning of the year.

Easy. 49, 27, 49, 42, 43, 27, 10, 49, 76 & 42 for a total of 414, or 41.4 PPG allowed.

Given the field position disadvantage that they usually start off with, they've done ok. Also, considering that the offense has only scored twice, there's not too much more you could ask from them. They have to get some support from the offense and special teams.

Defense hasn't played as poorly as 45 points through 3 quarters would indicate, but 388 total yards, including 260+ on the ground on 32 carries, shows the defense hasn't exactly played well.

Well, they're probably going to call of the dogs, perhaps score only once more, and we can hold them to under 60 points. Wow.

The Defense has been ground down to a nub.

Three turnovers deep in Tulane territory in the first quarter didn't help. Right now, they are running over us. Godfrey played for Miami Central, and I don't think that they threw the ball too often.

My extended family lives in New Mexico and several are UNM graduates. So, I guess it could be worse than being a Tulane football fan right now. But not much.

The early games were very misleading. A I-AA team that TU could outplay man for man most play. An Ole Miss team that was badly undercoached. During the Houston game, the defense got shredded from time to time. Against Rutgers, the defense got a few breaks and was facing an offense with some pieces missing.

Defense IS better than last year because of Moses and Mackey and Shak at his natural position. But LB's Robinson and Davis are young and need another year of conditioning. D-line just isn't big and powerful enough to stand up to pounding. Still need lots of size and strength on the D-line and strength and experience at LB. No surprise that we get gashed on the ground.

He did play for Central. I think he led them to an upset of Miami Northwestern in the playoffs last year. Either way, kid is a winner and will be a great QB for UCF for the next 4 years.
