According to TJ on Graf's pregame, Montalbano is with the team, on the Conference roster, and available to play tonight "if the situation calls for it."

Can't post here and watch there at the same time. I'll be watching, of course. Maybe check in here between innings...

Single, balk, and 2 groundouts give us a 1-0 lead.

Consecutive 2 out doubles give ECU a 2-1 lead after 1. Brown robbed a 2 run homer to end the inning.

Great job by Grant to chase it to the wall, reach over the wall, and pull it back into the field. Graf says to put TWO stars by that one. :-)

I think we won the first 8 conference series we played against ECU. Really need a win this weekend.

We never lost a series in that park until we were forced to go there in back-to-back seasons.

Merrill is doing worse than Massey did on Sunday. Massey has shown the ability to comeback strong after a bad start. I don't recall Merrill ever doing that. And yet, we have nobody getting loose.

Not really. He could give up a run or 2, because we could score 9, so.......

Wow. What's his situation? Will he be able to catch again this season? Or just be available as a DH?

Granny.
It's now 3-12. I think this one can be phoned in, unless our bats can wake up. Write the article; just leave the actual scores blank for now.

ECU just hit a grand slam to go up 12-3, and I'm going to grade my students' final papers and watch the Dolphins frick up the draft. See y'all tomorrow.
