Re: Beat Army
The coverage stopped with a yard between him and the receiver. The ball simply bounced off the receiver's chest. Should have been Tulane's ball.
Bad call by the referee probably changes the outcome of the game.

Re: Beat Army
Dunno if anyone posted. I don't feel like looking back at comments. But this zone/qb read option we do. Sometimes the qb keeps the ball. Hasn't ours ever yet today? He scrambled on a few pass plays. But man. So easy to read if the qb won't keep ball, ever.
he missed it

I suspect he's still leery about getting his ribs reinjured.Chiz82 wrote:Dunno if anyone posted. I don't feel like looking back at comments. But this zone/qb read option we do. Is the ruling on kick-reception interference not subject to review?

Did Graf just rename our team? He said the ball-carrier "runs into a blue wall."

We've lost the conditioning battle by our inability to let the D rest.

Re: Beat Army
The defense is done. It will take an actual scoring drive to win this.

Well, we are four games in. Feels about right for the optimism to depart for the rest of the season.

There is lots of football yet to be played. Though I agree we will need a scoring drive, things are not dire.Man in Green wrote:The defense is done. It will take an actual scoring drive to win this.
