Actually, we pinch-hit for Kobi Owens (who had 2 Ks) in LF, moved Ty Johnson (whose error led to 2 runs) to LF, and brought in Acy Owens to catch. Could have been a lefty-righty move as well.

maybe, announcers just said that he made an errant throw last night
Yes, he made a bad throw to 2nd on a double-steal, allowing the 1st run to score, then the runner who should have been out at 2nd scored after a passed ball and a ground out to 3rd.

It was a great play by the left fielder, so it would have been close. But had he gone to 2nd, he would have tied the score on the next batter.
