We should never have lost to them the first time. We scored at will in the paint but kept hoisting 3s if I recall and fell behind big. We are 15-22 from inside 3 today (2-8 from 3).

USF has switched to zone. Why they weren't in it the whole game, I don't know.

On the bright side, we're showing some small semblance of a zone offense. But a lot of it is that USF is horribly undisciplined and sloppy.

Tulane up by 18 with just under 8 minutes left. Sehic is playing well offensively but is completely overmatched when trying to defend their big man. We're not stopping USF so much as they just make a lot of mistakes. If they stop being lazy and stupid and get the crowd into it, I could see this getting close.

USF switches to 1-3-1 zone and we're befuddled. Lead down to 12.

Now we seem to be figuring out how to beat the 1-3-1. Between Frazier and Reynolds, leaving one of them on the baseline against the "1" works out well for us. We just need to stop settling for 3s.

USF is just bad. We're up 12 with 1 minute because they're terrible.

I don't have live stats but I believe Reynolds has 9 right now. This would be, I believe, his first game not in double figures since way last season. If so, need to get him a bucket.

Announcers repeatedly keep mentioning the FBI probe and pending Arizona fallout.

Wave wins by 11. Reynolds does not get double figures, finishing with 9. Sehic leads with 17, Frazier with 16.

38 points in the paint; >50% shooting; edge in rebounding and turnovers; this all more than offset poor 3 point shooting. Finally Tulane led in first half so it didn't require its all too regular 911 drill in second half.

Yes, USF is not a very good team. Devlin game was a fluke.

Regardless above is a formula for Tulane to do some damage in AAC tourney. Let's see what happens against UC Thursday. It clearly must shoot 3's better if it is to stay in the game. Last chance to see Melvin at home???!!! I'm sure the NBA scouts will be there.
