Do we let Wake score quickly and then try to win it on the last possession?

I maintain that is a result of the angle. That ball was actually about 1/2" off his fingers at the instant the knee touched. But it's not conclusive, so the original call stands.OGSB wrote:Picture already on the Wake board. I don’t think so, but understand your thinking.NJwave wrote:Huge kick. Let’s roll the dice and go onside kick.

Honestly I was thinking that earlier. It's reminding me of Saints teams of the past where you just want the D to let them score so the offense can get the ball backPeteRasche wrote:Do we let Wake score quickly and then try to win it on the last possession?

I like the onside idea. If they recover it just shortens the time until they score and leaves us more time.

Do you think Fritz was thinking field goal on that drive after Banks ran for the first down?

Having seen that kick, I'd venture that we could have had 12 more points in this game, instead of 4 pooch-punts.windywave wrote:If we had a kicker.....NJwave wrote:5th time between 35 and 40. Got to go for it this time.

Basically the only hope here is the freshman just lets his nerves get the best of him in crunch time. He's been cool so far but it's not been crunch time.

They were dissing our cheerleaders on the WF board earlier. But I have yet to see them. CBS is apparently monitoring, me and only showing them when I'm looking away, typing.TUPF wrote:I like our cheerleader unis. Except if it were my daughter.

This officiating crew just sucks for both teams

Yeah, how does the clock run when the player is thrown out of bounds?
