And to think I was looking forward to this game after spending all day working from home due to my 5 year old daughter puking all over the place this morning

I guess we are getting a taste of what Memphis and USF got earlier this year. Truly surreal.
Re: @ Houston, 11-15-18
I wonder what offense is easier to prepare for in a 4 day week???
Re: @ Houston, 11-15-18
We have 9 points and 200 yards through 3 quarters vs a defense that was depleted and reeling.Roller wrote:This is not anything to do with the offense. This is our "vaunted" defence showing their inability to stop Houston's FOURTH string.

Waiting for the payoff on that wildcat play in the 1st half.
And we fumble it away.

Dauphine fumbles. I would sit him the rest of the game.

And our D is giving up massive yardage to their 4th String. They are rolling up "undeserved" points. Their Defense is playing much better than ours.OGSB wrote:We have 9 points and 200 yards through 3 quarters vs a defense that was depleted and reeling.Roller wrote:This is not anything to do with the offense. We’ve seen this movie before, haven’t we?
Fan since 1974 living in Phelps seeing the upper bowl of Tulane Stadium

Every week we face a defense that plays above itself.Roller wrote:And our D is giving up massive yardage to their 4th String. They are rolling up "undeserved" points. Re: @ Houston, 11-15-18
Houston has given up like 500+ yards the last few games...... this isn't exactly the 85 bears we are playing.... our offense is bad.Roller wrote:And our D is giving up massive yardage to their 4th String. Finally moving the ball. What string are we facing?

I hung the flag outside and wore olive and blue. I was really stoked.krewe of ham and eggs wrote:And to think I was looking forward to this game after spending all day working from home due to my 5 year old daughter puking all over the place this morning
As bad as the offense has been, I’ve been more disappointed in the defense

This is not the same Houston of the past few games, and this is not the same Tulane of the past few games. They are playing much better, and we are playing much worse--on BOTH sides of the ball.olivengreen wrote:Houston has given up like 500+ yards the last few games...... this isn't exactly the 85 bears we are playing.... our offense is bad.

Applewhite was caught off guard that Tulane was going to onside kick. Had to grab a TO and regroup.
Re: @ Houston, 11-15-18
I’d be more disappointed in the defense if the offense was keeping pace.Johnny4 wrote:I hung the flag outside and wore olive and blue. If they don’t give Bret Michels or Dave Mustaine a chance for a touchdown then I am done with Houston football.

Do you actually believe all this or do you just try and troll?

If we were holding them to 1/2 their average we’d still be trailing.OGSB wrote:I’d be more disappointed in the defense if the offense was keeping pace.Johnny4 wrote:I hung the flag outside and wore olive and blue.
