Were it not opening day of a season which was in doubt for a long time and follows a season that was abruptly aborted, I'd agree. But things being what they are, this is just plain CATHARSIS. Let them release it. Hell, some are probably a bit choked up.

Imagine having your best season cut short by something you couldn’t control and seeing a teammate struggle like that in the first game. They deserve to let the energy out!

What a win! While Tulane's lineup might struggle to produce runs at points this season, I like Burns/Minder/Aviles in the middle of the lineup.

The pitching overall should be better than last season, especially the bullpen. Keeping Olthoff was obviously enormous.

I have a feeling this team will be playing a TON of close games this season. If we are good in those games, we could be a 2 seed in the NCAAs. If we are bad in those games, we could miss the tournament.
