And the season is young, could be aging fast however.

This game puts the season at 14.5% over.

TJ is proving he's going to make the bunt work, somehow, during one of our games.

Even in 2017 with a lineup filled with mashers he tried it. It never worked

I for one thought Latham was a great hire but it hasn't been reflected on the field so far this season. In our Bizarro World just about every pitching change and non change has been wrong.
TUPF, Latham is very good. With that said, I have seen a pattern I don’t like. We throw a slider first pitch and if it is a strike, we seem to throw that same pitch repeatedly until the hitter adjust. We need to mix it up more. On the HR, slider, then hung a slider. It is not every batter, but it is enough that a pattern is developing. Something to keep your eye on.

I think we need more than a few runs to win this. Giving up the out probably doesn't make sense even if he gets it down.

Slider is Slagel’s best pitch

He needs to get the Vandy coach Tim Corbin to learn how to teach bunting. As for when to change pitchers,Wayne Graham was the master.

I'm a fan of the bunt, when it's done well. But my favorite is still the "slash."

Error and Minder reaches (pending review).

I am sure TJ will go back to the bunt well again.

Runner's foot hit the bag before the tag. The announcers are lost in "tag or no tag?" The real question should have been "when tag?"

I don’t really think anyone can teach you when to change pitchers. It’s instinct and feel.
