WKU Game 3

Post by tulaneoutlaw »

Chance for a sweep. Game is on the + at 12 pm et. Finishing this week 3-1 would be a decent recovery from the sela debacle

And if WKU is as bad as people say, we shouldn’t lose to them. A lot will depend on Aldrich having a good start.

Shouldn't that be turned into an error once the batter gets on base?

Quite the opposite--it's a pitiful start.

Really not a great inning defensively. At least he got the runner at 3rd

Probably should’ve been a double play.

Minder bobbles a probable DP ball, prolonging the inning and allowing a run to score.

Followed by "catcher's interference" on an inning-ending grounder.

Down by only 1 run. That very well could have been a complete disaster.

Have we set a school record for catcher interference yet this season?

Luckily their pitcher can’t find the catcher.

Give a lot of credit to the pitching this weekend, so far. WKU has stranded a ton of base runners.
